There are probably a million recipes out there for
cobblers and everyone has their favorite. This is
a cobbler recipe for anyone that likes easy,
delicious & fast when making dessert. It
is still made entirely from scratch, though-
No convenience packaged items here!
There are only 4 ingredients besides the fruit
and one of them is mayonnaise. I know, it
sounds weird, but just trust me and give it
a try. There's no mixing and measuring
baking powder, salt, etc and it really is
as simple as mixing the 4 ingredients
and crumbling it over part of the fruit
and the rest over the top. For a change
of taste you could easily change the
sugar in the recipe to brown sugar.
Grab the best real vanilla ice cream you
can afford, place a scoop of it next to the
warm cobbler & get ready to serve up seconds.
(Just don't tell anyone how easy it is!)
SIMPLE BLUEBERRY COBBLER
INGREDIENTS
4 cups fresh or frozen (do not thaw) blueberries
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup mayonnaise
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place 1/2 the blueberries into an 8 inch square baking
dish. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar,
and cinnamon. Stir in the mayonnaise until the mixture
resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle 1/2 the mixture over
the top of 1/2 the berries in the pan, then pour the
remainder of the berries over that. Sprinkle the rest
of the crumble mixture over the top.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until
the top is lightly browned and blueberries are bubbling.
The crumble will be soft at this point, if you like
yours more like a crisp then you will want to bake
it a bit longer so the topping gets a little browner.
Excellent served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

I just posted a 20% off coupon code from Franklin Springs, who sell those wonderful West Ladies DVDs. Come check it out.
More good news: The West Ladies have three more DVDs scheduled for release in Early Summer. : D
P.S.
Here's the beeswax site Elizabeth found.
http://www.ebeehoney.com/
She said it will ship US only and had much cheaper prices than other sites. We haven't ordered anything from them yet -- too hot now for candle dipping over a hot stove -- but Fall will return and then we plan to dip away.
