We had a real treat in town this week! Jeff Deyo, the former lead singer of Sonic Flood
and his band were here performing for our community. They donated three concerts
and the offering that was collected was returned 100% back to our community to help
finish our new performing arts center that has had some financial challenges.
They came on the condition that they would pay for their entire trip for all 10 members
and that they would not be paid for the concerts.
The music was amazing, the worship was amazing and their generosity was AMAZING.
After the concert they had an altar call and many people went forward to give their
lives to God. After that the entire band came down from the stage and laid hands on
people and prayed with them.
I don't know how late they were there, but we left and there were still a lot of people
up front needing prayer. What a great group of guys, true men of God.

What a wonderful thing to do. I haven't heard of that band but they sound amazing.

Kate--Yes it was great fun and a lot of people went out of curiosity and heard the Gospel.
