My cousin and her husband live down the road from us about
a mile. My older daughter and I visited their beautiful Alaskan
home and I took lots of photos to share. Enjoy!
There are 2 sets of these gorgeous curved staircases, one for each floor.
What a beautiful kitchen--the black granite has copper pieces in it.
A huge walk in/walk through pantry to the laundry room.
A pod of Orcas went by the windows this week. Who needs TV!?
The hallway leading to 3 bedrooms. The door to the right is an elevator.
The elevator goes down to the garage--voila! groceries are brought up to the pantry.
Oh I could SO use one of these.
A beautiful bedroom for visiting grandchildren.
These dolls are so lifelike!
Half of the master bath--I couldn't fit it all into the picture.
Outside is the smokehouse. My cousin's husband is very well
known for his smoked fish.

What a beautiful home! The staircases are my favorite. How blessed your family is to live in such a beautiful place. Our move happens in 10 days - aaaaggh! I am at the "what in the world are we doing?" stage. :0)
Well now, at first I kept wondering where they got their money and thinking we need to change jobs. Then I looked at those huge windows and started to think about the fact that it's Alaska. So I comforted myself by pretending that their house is freezing all winter long, so no way would I want to live there. Do NOT correct me on this!
Hi Kris,
WOW! Is all I can say! Thanks for sharing that history and beautiful place! Does not look like an igloo to me! A palace, comes to mind! A beautiful one, at that! Love the whole place; the bathroom with glorious tub, looks fabulous! Wonderfully breathtaking views too!
Thanks for your comments on my blog. It brought back happy memories for me; as you will see in the 2 comments I added to yours. It gives a bit of history about our beloved Pasley.
