SELF PORTRAIT

So Pam challenged me to post a recent picture of myself.
This was taken last month by my older brother. If it looks good it's probably because he is a professional
photographer. My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this August. My how time flies!

Pam is smiling because she can convince people to post photos :)
(Well, you and Park Wife!)
You look beautiful my friend!

Hey thanks Pam! I am not lady head vase material, that's for darn sure. I was thankful he blurred the photo a bit and made it black and white. My husband looks good whether he's dressed for a photo shoot or just crawled out from under a house. :-S

I thought we already discussed this?! I prefer your face over the headvase lady?! That was two posts ago!
Soft focus is nice, yes, but not for the reasons you are joking about.
Just remember, you have two young ladies listening to your every word, and you want them to be full of confidence, so hold your head high my friend. You do look beautiful, and I am sure your daughters would agree with that, so shhhhhh about the "not lady headvase material." You are the real deal, so much better than a vase. Besides, we would worry if you had a hole in your head that could hold flowers ;)

Thank you Niki and Pam for the compliments. I like pictures of everybody else, that's why I am usually behind the camera.

Hi Kris,

I think it is a good picture of you. You look as if you have also, a beautiful comlexion. Blessed with an attractive and kind face, it is a face full of character, fairness, and a gentleness; and has a 'glow' all the while. You have a Gift!

The 'outside' on us all, can only last so long; it is the whole 'package' that matters the most; thus the 'inside' is it! You take a great photo; and so does your husband. You both look very good together. Happy Anniversary 20th coming up!

Those Head Vases do have one over us! They never become wrinkled or age drastically, unless they have been poorly treated or damaged. Then they really go downhill. LOL!

Thanks for sharing your photo. It is special; hope you have that one in a lovely frame. You are fortunate that your brother is a photographer - up to date with family photos! LOL!

I just had my hair cut...yes cut...SHORT...'pixie' style. (a sexy flip new hairdo for spring - Alan loves it!) One of these days, when I figure out how to use the digital camera, we were given for Christmas, I will send you a photo of us and our Blue...but more importantly (LOL!) of the 2 sets of antlers.

Hope all is well with you. Also, on my blog from yesterday (21st) 'Professor Howdy' made a comment. He is "Thoughts and Humour" and we have enjoyed a bit of blogging here and there. He ended up commenting; BUT, with a list of interesting & unique info. You may find it quite inspirational.

Talk soon.

I really like this picture of you. Now I can 'see' to whom I am writing. You look very natural and very nice.

Thank you Kate and Gina for saying such nice things! Everyone that sees me and knows my mom says we look very much alike. I wonder if we both looked like either of my grandmas at our respective ages?
