What a beautiful day for a hike! It was a tad nippy at 34 degrees, but the sun was out without any rain, so we took the kids and dogs and walked to Mosquito Cove, approx. 1.5 miles of beautifully maintained trails and bridges. Alaska has some of the most gorgeous parks, trails and campgrounds we have ever seen and we have yet to come across a piece of trash or graffiti anywhere we have been. Click the pictures to make them bigger.

Wow! Alaska is right at the top of my list of places I most want to visit. So different to Australia. We are getting really hot just as you are getting really cold.

I am looking forward to visiting here again.

Thanks for visiting Kate! How funny--Australia is someplace we would like to visit one day. Kris
