Ahhhhh...warm breezes

From this:

To this:

We got lost after leaving the airport last night, so we
finally checked into our room after midnight. Highways,
toll booths, freeways--we have 14 miles of road total that
we drive on--this takes some getting used to! We stopped
at a rest area to look at a map and there was a sign that
said  Be aware of venemous snakes in the area. I
would show you a picture but my husband is the only
one that got out of the car, thank you very much.

There is a hot pool with a hot waterfall outside our
room so at 1:00am we were out soaking & swimming.
It felt terrific after the long flight.

It is 70 degrees with a warm breeze blowing and I am
sitting by the pool wondering what to have for lunch.
It doesn't feel like lunch time to me though...at home
it is 7:30 in the morning.

I have to set up for the early sales tomorrow and the
convention on Saturday, but for right now it feels
pretty good to just do nothing.

My husband and daughters left this morning for SC
to visit his relatives. Our rental car is a Jeep Liberty
so it kind of felt familiar. They will be gone until Friday
and on their way back down they are overnighting in
Jacksonville with some old friends.

Hmmmm now what to have for lunch...

what a great change for you. Lucy lives in Jacksonville right by the Navy base. Are you still there? The snow looks just like Chicago did yesterday, where we were delayed because of a blizzard. COLD!!!
Florida looks great, have a good sale and catch up with you soon. I'm too pooped to pop.

Glad you arrived safe! House sitting is going well. The dogs love me, my only question is, do you care that I am using all your cool catering/ cooking gear? I didn't think so, you're kitchen is so fun! Oh, and I forgot my bathrobe so I just borrowed someone's. Thanks for the stocked fridge, and oh, love your coffee maker, but I can't go the mushroom coffee! The snow and mountains were just what I needed!

(Oh if only haha! When I read The Boy what you wrote the other day he said, "I can be ready in ten minutes!")

Gorgeous! Fabulous! AAAaaaaaaahhhhhhh! How wonderful to enjoy a respite from the cold -- though those pics are gorgeous too! Have a great time. (It sounds like your hosue sitter is having a ball in your kitchen. I think I would too . . . now where did she put that pasta machine? ;D

What type of convention are you at?
I love looking at the warm pictures while I am freezing here in Kansas!
Still, I would love to join your house sitter! Even more than the warm pool!
