THE BEST THINGS ARE FREE

Some of life's simplest pleasures...the setting sun bathing
the room with an amber glow, a warm fire and a good book.

Hi Kris,

What a gorgeous picture! Wow! Totally takes my breath away! Absolutely majestic! (Could spend hours there and never tire of the view!)

Thanks for posting the photo; such a beautiful part of the world you live in!

God Bless.

What a wonderful view! I agree that a warm fire on a cold day is the best. Our snow has melted, but it is still a little chilly in our part of Texas. Molly wants to know if all of the bears in Alaska have "hibrenated" yet :)

Breathtaking! Really Spectacular! You have shown me an Alaska that rises far above the stats of sunrise and sunset (which leave you with very short days around this time of year).

I'm so glad I "met" you and you have invited me into your "spot" so warmly. I so hope someday to "really" see these fabulous sites. : D

WOW what a picture and your tree is absolutely the most lovely I have seen in a long time. Just curious what time of day did you take this picture?

Karen--I think that was about 3:00 maybe? Yesterday it was pitch black at 3:30 because it was hailing and the sky was so dark. I am looking forward to Dec 21st--the shortest day of the year. It's all downhill after that!
