SITTING ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY

Not really...that song was just playing in my head so I wrote that title. We were actually walking
on the beach by the sea. We have had snow on the ground now continually since right after
Thanksgiving. Last night we had a storm that really made me wonder if the windows were going
to blow in.

The snow was blowing in so many directions that we couldn't tell if it was falling down or going
back up! Then the ice hit and was pelting the windows and skylight until the dogs started
barking at all the ruckus.

I noticed several cars parked across the street with their headlights on watching the waves crashing
into the beach. I couldn't talk anyone here into walking down to get pictures of the chaos in the dark,
so here are some pictures from a couple of weeks ago when we went down to the beach to let the
dogs run when the tide was out.

Weird how there are always one or two eagles following us when we take my Min Pin for a walk...

Our house is the red one amongst all the grey, light grey and beige houses. When deciding
on a color we agreed that we wanted to be able to point to our house when we were out in
the boat.

What a beautiful spot you live in Kris! I especially love the shot of the homes, can we see more of your "neighborhood"?

Wow, beautiful view Kris! Red is my favourite colour, and wonderful pic of the eagles!
I've only ever seen a golden eagle before :)
