I have seen her in black but she pales in comparison to the bright blue.

KrisGrandma Tillie's Bakeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04347610921670487366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3841330690482031444.post-87129497451364749232008-01-15T10:31:00.000-09:002008-01-15T10:31:00.000-09:00And I have her :) (thanks to Kris!)She is one of m...And I have her :) (thanks to Kris!)
She is one of my favouritesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3841330690482031444.post-40748065740598710042008-01-15T10:20:00.000-09:002008-01-15T10:20:00.000-09:00Hi Kris,I thought I had sent a comment? And you are also right about the terms matte and glossy to describe the different finishes. These are very detailed and time consuming finishes for fragile ceramic and pottery products, so items are not made this way anymore. It's one of the reasons I love vintage items so much. The attention to detail and artistry is absent from our modern plastic, mass produced products.Grandma Tillie's Bakeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04347610921670487366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3841330690482031444.post-35930969891890596982008-01-14T06:41:00.000-09:002008-01-14T06:41:00.000-09:00She's cute. If you look from the neck down (no hair) she reminds me of Barbara Bush (Grandma B not First Daughter B) with the blue and the pearls!
I find the finish on them interesting. Some glossy, some more matte. (I am sure there are technical terms, but I am using photography ones since I have like no knowledge here!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
